Identification

Please bring a photo ID (e.g. driver's licence, passport, my number card, etc.) to confirm your age when you visit the shop. (Student IDs, employee IDs, etc. are not acceptable).

If identification cannot be verified, the treatment will be refused on the same day.

For customers who only attend counselling

If you do not book an appointment after completing the counselling, we will still collect the deposit that was received at the time of booking as a counselling fee.

If you wish to book the appointment after completing your consultation, you will be asked to pay an additional part of the treatment cost as a deposit to confirm your treatment.

Deposit amounts for booking appointments

Ultimately, it depends on the content and size of the design.

Please note that if you cancel the appointment after making the deposit, it will not be refunded under any circumstances.

Please remember to bring your deposit with you, as we will not be able to book your treatment date if you do not pay the deposit.

Booking times

On the day of your appointment, please allow plenty of time to arrive.

Please note that if you are late and this affects the next customer's appointment, it may not be possible to provide the treatment or other services on the same day.

Cancellation and schedule changes

At our studio, we carefully adjust our schedule to accept appointments so that as many customers as possible can use our services. Sudden cancellations or schedule changes may cause inconvenience to other customers, so we ask that you do your best to refrain from cancelling or rescheduling. In the unlikely event that you need to cancel your booking, please make sure to contact us on LINE in advance.

Please note that cancellations or schedule changes made less than 7 days prior to the booking date will incur the following cancellation fees.

Design and size changes

If you would like to change the design or size of the order, as discussed at the time of booking, please be sure to contact us on LINE in advance.

We carefully manage schedules so that we can smoothly accommodate as many customers as possible, and each customer's reservation time is limited in advance depending on the design and size. Therefore, depending on the new design and size, we may ask you to change your appointment date. Please note that we may not be able to accommodate changes on the same day if you request a change without informing us.

Please note that if you wish to make changes to a design that has been finalised during the design consultation, you will be charged an additional fee as a design cancellation fee.

Health & safety measures

At our studio, all of our staff work together every day to improve our techniques, maintain thorough hygiene management, and create a comfortable, bright and safe environment for our customers.

Therefore, minors (under 19 years of age), gang members and those belonging to similar organisations, pregnant women, drug addicts, people infected with HIV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, heart disease, people with other health problems, people with a significant lack of common sense, and other people deemed inappropriate by our staff are strictly prohibited from entering the studio. Please note that access to the studio and treatment will be strictly forbidden. For more information, please see the safety and hygiene measures section at the bottom of this page.

If you are coming with a companion

If you need to be accompanied by a companion due to special circumstances, please make sure to contact us on LINE in advance so that we can adjust your booking to a date when you can be accompanied.

Please note that we ask that your companion wears a mask during the treatment as a precaution against infection.

Please be quiet in the studio.

In the unlikely event that the guest causes inconvenience to other customers or interferes with the counselling or treatment, the guest will be asked to leave the premises.

In addition to the design, the area to be tattooed, the size and the overall balance of the tattoo, the studio also provides friendly and helpful advice on physical health and aftercare.

Sanitation

To ensure that the treatment is safe and secure for both customers and artists, TATTOO STUDIO Ray's has a thorough hygiene management system.

  • The studio maintains a clean environment at all times, taking the utmost care to ensure thorough hygiene against viral infections (HIV, MRSA, HBV, HCV E. coli, etc.), bacteria and other pathogens and germs.
  • All inks, gloves, masks, needles, bed sheet-related items, etc. are disposable.
  • Equipment (treatment tables, lights, etc.) that may come into contact with clients' skin or bodily fluids and that cannot be disposed of are completely protected with plastic wrap, sheets, etc., and these protective materials are disposed of after use.
  • After the treatment, all areas and equipment (treatment tables, chairs, lights, other equipment and their surroundings) that the artist and client would or could have come into contact with are sterilised and disinfected using isopropanol disinfectant solution.
  • Stainless steel tubes, grips and other instruments are sterilised and cleaned with a special detergent for tattoo instruments and an ultrasonic cleaner (Sonic Cleaner), and then visually brushed with a medicated soap containing Triclosan, a disinfectant. Finally, the instruments are sterilised in a high-pressure steam steriliser (autoclave).
  • After sterilisation and drying, each treatment instrument is individually sealed in a sterilisation pack and stored and managed in a UV disinfection storage (Stearizer).
